MainBrace is the official news publication of the Catalina 22 National Sailing Association since 1972. MainBrace is published quarterly. Articles for MainBrace and website postings may be sent to the Editor/Webmaster Rich Fox at email c22mainbrace@yahoo.com. MainBrace article submission deadlines are Noon Eastern on January 15, April 1, July 1, and October 1. Website postings may be sent at anytime.

If you are a new or existing C22NSA member, you may also:

  • Log-in then download the recent MainBrace publications from the past two years by using the login icon on the top main menu bar.
  • Purchase a MainBrace DVD that contains all past issues dating back to Fall 1972.  
  • Subscribe to Mainsheet magazine - the official publication for thousands of Catalina Yachts sailboat owners.

The Fall 2023 MainBrace is now available and also includes the "Welcome to Silver Fleet" content in its entirety as part of the renewed effort by the Catalina 22 National Sailing Association to encourage new Catalina 22 sailors to participate in the Silver Fleet at Association's annual National Championship Regatta.  A standalone version of the "Welcome to Silver Fleet: Enjoy the Fun of Catalina 22 Racing!" is also available.

Mainsheet Magazine

When you join or renew your C22NSA membership, you have the option to purchase a subscription to Mainsheet magazine published by Eagle Ltd. Although the Catalina 22 class has a regular presence in Mainsheet, the magazine covers many of the other sailboat classes built by Catalina Yachts. Mainsheet is published quarterly and offered in an electronic (PDF) format or a printed format.
